Involved: Bobbie Murphy for School Board

Bobbie Murphy is an active and involved parent in this community with four children who are either currently enrolled or recent graduates of the Novi School District. Having lived in Novi for 17+ years, she has strong ties to the area through service to her church and to local social and non-profit organizations. In addition, she is involved with organizations that support her children’s various activities and sports through fundraising efforts and team activities.

Bobbie is an energetic and enthusiastic volunteer who has proven her willingness to step up and make a difference in numerous volunteer and leadership capacities during her tenure in Novi.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Bobbie Murphy for over ten years. During this period, I have had the opportunity to work with Bobbie on many school, neighborhood, and charitable projects. As I have worked with Bobbie, I have seen time and time again, several attributes that I believe make her immensely qualified to serve on the Novi School Board.

Bobbie is invested in Novi and Novi Schools. As a resident of Novi for over 17 years and a parent of children who both currently attend Novi school and have graduated Novi High, Bobbie deeply cares about our community and the success of our schools. She knows how important the decisions the School Board makes and actually lives with the impact that they make on the children of Novi.

Bobbie is a problem-solver. When faced with a challenge, Bobbie always remains positive, seeks input from others, and has a unique ability to get quickly to the heart of the problem. Bobbie is able to process the issues and formulate an action plan to success. When I have a problem: personal, school or other, Bobbie is always one of the first people that I contact for advice and input.

Bobbie is passionate about her family, faith and about Novi Schools. That passion is clear in every conversation that I have had with Bobbie about school issues over the years. She is such a wonderful advocate for our schools and works tirelessly to ensure that the issues that face our district are handled in a positive, but effective manner. Her energy and drive to continue to better our schools and provide the best educational experience for every student, makes me proud to have her as a School Board Trustee.

As a parent with children in Novi Schools myself, I cannot recommend Bobbie Murphy any more strongly as a School Board Trustee. She has the passion, the problem-solving abilities, and the investment in Novi Schools that we need during these critical times in our District.
